Harold Wood Trucking
We are a family owned business with three generaions working together. Harold started driving part-time in 1967 for Leonard Woodworth hauling things in a gasonline powered semi-truck. At that time, Harold was working a job in Quincy, which he quit to truck full-time, and be available for his ailing wife and four daughters. That is why the truck business is basically local.
In 1970, Harold bought his first diesel semi. The company now has five trucks. We haul feed, fertilizer, some minerals, but mainly grain. We've hauled for MFA in LaBelle for 35 years and for local farmers. We also haul machinery, grain bins, logs and lumber, and have helped move a few houses.
We haul in the tri-state area, however, we are allowed to haul in 48 contiguous states. Harold continues to drive on a regular basis because he loves to do it and we have a lot of loyal customers.
